RELIGION/FAMILY/CHILDREN/POLITICS/ENVIRONMENT/CULTURE
On a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 as the best answer, rate yourself:
____ I believe in religion and keep my faith practices.
____ I have close ties with my parents.
____ I have close ties with my brothers and sisters.
____ I had a happy childhood.
____ I would love to have a family of my own.
____ I am nationalistic and keep myself informed on issues.
____ I care for the earth.
____ I enjoy art and culture.
If your results show too wide a variance, heed the danger signs of your great differences. Soul mates may be difficult to find nowadays, and it may be too much to expect a perfect match. But matching choices would mean greater compatibility, which is good. Then again, as some would say, opposites attract. Changing the other? Well… something can change, or can be changed. But a person’s choices and preferences are set, and change can be difficult, even impossible. Not even for love? Well, one can be quixotic, optimistic, romantic, or prayerful of miracles….

What Do You Discuss with Your BF?
You said...
We discuss a lot of things. It matters (and I am glad) that he is interested and open to a lot of things, from the importance of a tissue paper to the latest government issues-and he’s even my consultant on which clothing looks good on me. When it comes to preferences, we have the same taste for clothing: casual and comfortable. We don’t follow fashion trends because we know our personality and it’s reflected on all of our items, though I tend to be on the Bohemian side. And when there is a need to glam up, we know how to dress on a formal occasion. Food? We eat a lot. We like cooking together. We’re not chefs but we try to emulate the food we’ve tried on restaurants. We like watching good TV programs-no sitcoms or telenovelas. We are both musically inclined. He plays the guitar, I sing. Our iPod is the proof, I guess. Trust me, we like all genres. We even have Japanese songs, Korean songs, French and German songs, and World Music on our playlist. If watching a movie is a sport, then ours is a movie marathon. We have a wide collection of big-budgeted and indie movies. In so many ways, my boyfriend and I have the same wavelength. We do have our differences, too. For example: I like sleeping in the dark and he does not. Our differences make the relationship work because we learn to compromise. - Dhorj Escusa
Things I discuss with my boyfriend: money, parents, clothes, particularly favorite shops, where to shop, type of clothing he wouldn’t want me to wear, food such as favorite cuisine, cooking, least favorite food, where to eat, and entertainment: celebrity crushes, what movies to watch, favorite movies, favorite songs. - Paulette Pillarta
We talk about video games, movies, and music. We also talk about our families and friends and our business. - Ma. Jocelyn C. Bordador
We talk about sex and food. - Virgie Eulogio-Abaca
